We are fortunate to have Dr Rodrigo Ramazzini join OSSA as Director of Arthroscopy & Elective Surgery for the Orthopedic Residency Program in San Marcos. He attended medical school & completed an arthroscopy fellowship in Spain, has a busy private practice in Guatemala City and teaches and performs arthroscopies throughout Guatemala wherever his skills are required. He previously was a preceptor for San Marcos 3rd year resident arthroscopy elective in Guatemala City and has been a clinical instructor at our hospital teaching while providing surgeries to those in need for the past 2 years .

His wife, Dr Fabiola Valvert Gamboa is head of the Hematology Department at Institute of Cancer; Guatemala.
